Additionally, Lifepo4 batteries can be installed in parallel with a combiner box for protection. Its integrated BMS communication protection makes it ideal for hybrid and off-grid inverters.
LFP5-10kWh/LV lithium-ion batteries are built to deliver an impressive life cycle rating of 6,000 cycles even for heavy usage. With light use, the battery can exceed this rating. Unlike lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries are less susceptible to environmental and discharge factors, resulting in more accurate life cycle estimates. Additionally, solar storage battery (LFP5-10kWh/LV battery) allows for a 100% depth of discharge, meaning that you can utilize the full capacity without causing excessive damage to the battery.
Battery management systems are designed to maximize the efficient use of remaining energy in a battery. They safeguard batteries from deep discharge and over-voltage, which occur due to fast charging and high discharge currents, preventing damage. In the case of multi-cell batteries, the BMS also ensures uniform charging and discharging by performing cell balancing.
